Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm Review

I have never been a lip colour lover, I find then annoying and thought I could never pull them off and just prefer to go lippy free. However, I have always been curious in trying to change this and I thought I would take the plunge. The Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm’s seemed like a good place to start. They are a simple, twistable chubby stick with a lovely range of colours, a velvet texture and no stickiness in sight. I picked up two shades; 205 Elusive and 250 Standout. The first is a an everyday pink shade that would compliment every makeup look, the second is a more daring reddy, plummy, pink shade that I would use when I am feeling a little more adventurous. The formula of these is matte yet, not drying on the lips – not sure how they manage that! They are long wearing, smooth, they don’t cling to any dry patches and are very pigmented, they also smell minty. These could well and truly start the beginning of a lip product addiction, and I will definitely pick a couple more up.
