I am a bit of a Mindy Kaling fangirl, I think she is great and SO hilarious, smart and relatable especially in The Mindy Project. So I had been meaning to pick her book up for years and I finally got round to it, and it did not disappoint. The book itself is a autobiography but it so so funny, witty and a lighthearted read. Kaling understands the everyday woman and our struggles. The book discusses her childhood, the perils of trying to start a career following uni, boys and many hilarious life dilemmas. To summarise, its like sitting down with your best friend and having a good ol’ chinwag and basically leaves you wanting to be BFF’s with Mindy. Highly recommend.
